Sunoco 260 GTX SUNOCO E85R RACING GASOLINE

Sunoco E85-R is an unleaded racing fuel containing 85 volume % ethanol.  It can only be used in fuel systems designed specifically for E85 blends.  Because it is highly oxygenated and requires increased fuel flow compared to conventional non-oxygenated fuels, consult with your fuel injection system or carburetor supplier for correct air/fuel ratio calibrations.

The composition of conventional E85 blends can vary.  Sunoco E85-R is blended to consistently contain 85% ethanol.  The non-ethanol portion of Sunoco E85-R is comprised of highly-refined race fuel hydrocarbons for superior stability and consistency.  Sunoco E85-R is the racer’s fuel of choice where E85 blends are allowed.

Sunoco E85-R should be stored in dark, tightly sealed containers where the temperature is stable.  Handled under such conditions, shelf life is in excess of 1 year.  Check with your fuel system and fuel container manufacturers for compatibility with ethanol blends.

Sunoco 260 GTX SUNOCO SR18

Sunoco SR18 is our ultimate high octane, fast burning racing fuel.  If you have a high compression, high RPM race engine, 118 octane Sunoco SR18 is your fuel of choice.SR18 is an excellent choice for drag racing and truck pulling, especially large displacement applications.  It's also a good choice for 2-stroke racing snowmobiles because the fast-burning SR18 offsets the slower-burning oil present in 2-stroke engines.  For oval course and road racing applications, SR18 will tolerate the high cylinder pressures in racing classes where there are no compression ratio limitations.Sunoco SR18 is for off-road and racing use only.  It contains additives to enhance stability and increase storage life.  As with any gasoline, SR18 should be stored in opaque, tightly sealed containers where temperatures are stable.  Handled under such conditions, the shelf life of Sunoco SR18 is 3 years or more.

Sunoco 260 GTX    SUNOCO 260 GTX RACING GASOLINE

Sunoco 260 GTX is an unleaded racing fuel that contains no oxygenates and no metallic additives.  Thus, it does not contain any ethers (such at ETBE or MTBE), alcohols (such as ethanol or methanol), and it does not contain MMT.  260 GTX is not a street legal fuel and is for off-road use only.  Sunoco 260 GTX is a good fuel for many applications that need more detonation  protection than street gas provides, yet cannot use a leaded fuel.  It has been shown to produce good, repeatable power levels in engines over 12:1 compression ratio, and will tolerate more compression in engines with modern, efficient combustion chambers.  Because it contains no lead or MMT, it does not harm sensors used in fuel injection systems.  It is also an excellent choice where oxygenates such as ethanol are limited or banned by the engine manufacturer or sanctioning organization.  Sunoco GTX is a stable fuel and contains additives to enhance shelf life and promote clean engine components.  However, as with any gasoline, it should be stored in dark, sealed containers where the temperature is stable.  Handled under such conditions, the shelf life of 260 GTX is in excess of one year.

Cam2  CAM 2 RACING GASOLINE

"Cam 2" is the generic name used for Sunoco Race Fuels. You can expect the same consistent high quality performance from Cam 2 Racing Gasoline that you get from Sunoco Race Fuels because the names are interchangeable. It is the same product, made in the same facility by the same people. We use this name wherever the "Sunoco" brand name cannot be used, such as gasoline outlets which carry a competing brand of street gasoline.  Cam 2 is available in 110, 112, and 116 octane leaded, and 100 and 104 unleaded.  Please refer to the specs and MSDS for the Sunoco fuels listed above.
